AV100 Classes
These
'web-link based' classes will be simple to create and easy for
participants. Each lesson is based upon easily accessable web
pages, do-it-yourself quizzes and a final exam.

-- African Violets: From A to Z
The 'basics' of African violet
culture, as well as an awareness of the history and botany of the plant
are essential to every grower, novice or experienced.

- Enrollment: open to the public, no
preregistration
AV200 Classes
Each
'text based' class will be built around an AV book. Format of
each class will vary with each book, and may include group discussions,
written and practical assignments, quizzes and a final exam.
- AV 201 -- Helen Van Pelt Wilson's African Violet
Book
- Opens: to be announced -- approx.
September 15, 2008
- Duration: approx. 8 weeks
- Closes: approx December 1, 2008
- Materials required: the text will be Helen
Van Pelt Wilson's African Violet Book by Helen Van Pelt Wilson,
1970 edition
- Enrollment: to be announced
AV300 Classes
These
classes will be original material, created specially for each class.
These will involve more time to create. Topics will vary and may
be specific.
AV400 Classes
These
will be 'lab' classes, and will include hands-on activities.
Examples might be AV photography workshops and growing projects.
